This is an exciting opportunity for any tourism student! Work and promote activities in a busy hostel with locations all over Australia and New Zealand. Extensive training is provided and interns will be supervised at all times and will receive extensive guidance and feedback to ensure the most valuable learning experience possible.
Duties and skills:
- Learning about all products sold and about all free activities offered.
- Making sure the brochure racks are presentable at all times and inform guests about activities to do.
- Assisting in the booking of tours, activities and accommodation.
- Assisting with promotional activities associated with the backpacker property
- Making sure you inspire other team members, staff from other departments and guests to have a great time whilst at the hostel!
- Being in charge of developing and carrying out activities within and outside the hostel to keep the guests entertained.
- Workingwith different cultures and people, and help the guests in every way you can while having the time of your life abroad!
