This internship is an exciting opportunity for any tourism or hospitality student. Get hands on work experience in a busy hostel with locations all over Australia and New Zealand. Extensive training is provided and interns will be supervised at all times and will receive extensive guidance and feedback to ensure the most valuable learning experience possible.
The intern will be required to:
- Receiving new customers and make them feel happy and welcome at the hostel.
- Answering incoming calls and emails
- Take care of a safe and clean working area and know what to do in case a work accident takes place.
- Being responsible for the cash draw, ensuring all money and vouchers received balance and are deposited correctly.
- Helping the guests with checking in and out and receive and process the information from the guests required.
- Creating and processing of reservations
- Informing guests on local activities and assist in the booking process of overnight stays and activities for the rest of their journey
Working with different cultures and people, and help the guests in every way you can while having the time of your life abroad!
