Why did you choose to go abroad?
I chose to go abroad, because one in my lifetime I wanted to experience how it is to live in the United States. Since I was a little boy, I always dreamed of the United States,?and I still do. So, I decided to make the step of going abroad to United States, and I do not regret it.
How does the US culture differ from your culture and what has impressed you most so far?The biggest difference is how open all the Americans are, wherever you are there are people who want to talk with you. What impressed me the most is that the view Europeans have of America is the complete opposite then what it really is.
Could you take us for a day? What are your routines?
I live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, but I work in Manhattan near Bryant Park. My day starts getting in the subway to work, when I get out of the subway I get my breakfast at the same place every day, a bagel and an ice coffee. Then my working day starts.
For lunch I go together with my supervisor and when the weather is nice, we sit in Bryant Park enjoying the weather. Two times a week after work, I go to a bar Jimmy’s corner.
How has this experience abroad helped you to grow personally?
I definitely grew as a person. My English became much better since I arrived and getting out of your comfort zone makes it really good experience, I feel more mature and self-reliant.

I would recommend it to everyone, it’s a live changing experience, you change as a person in a positive way and you make so many new connections with people all over the world. I feel very blessed to get the opportunity to be here.
